La Push Socks

Posted by Ariana Pagano on November 3, 2009 at 2:45 PM Comments comments (0)

I'm almost done with this project :)

The reason why its been taking so long is because I have been writing the pattern as I go for two different sizes: an average sized foor (women's US size 7-8) and a larger foot (women's US size 9-10).

The pattern is about 75% finsihed at this moment, as is the second sock. Hopefully I'll be able to post it within the next week or two, depending on how this part of my semester goes. It's very hard to find some downtime right now, but such is the life of a college student.

Pictures from when I first started. I need to take a few more recent ones.

A few days ago,  I started knitting Bella's La Push Hat from the twilight movie. I'm alittle more than a third done. I really enjoy knitting this project. It is my first real attempt at making a hat, and I'm surprised at how well it is going so far!

As of 2AM this morning, my scarf was FINALLY completed!!! I started itway back in November of 2007 and worked on it on and off over the next year and a half. I decided to put my initials on one end in a duplicatestitch in the contrasting yellow color. I am quite happy with the waymy scarf came out :-)

Gryffindor Prisoner of Azkaban Scarf

I started this scarf in November of 2007and have been working on it on and off since.

Thepattern originally called for 800 yards in the main color, but I ranout of it 19 rows after the 13th set of stripes. There are supposed tobe 14 sets, ending with 27 more rows in the main color, not to mentiontastles? So I needed to order one more skein from Trying to get this done so that I can wear it to the Half Blood Prince movie!
